So, obviously my time in the hospital is not all visits and gifts and goofing off with the staff. The routines of my day have become blood draws, pain medication, exercises and just doing everything that I can to get my body as healthy as possible so that I can start chemo.

Radiation had given my skin a tanned glow as if I am spending my days on the beach.

And last for today, a little look at The Pill Game that I am playing every day.

I try to stay positive as much as possible but there are (obviously) some things about this that are just terrible and difficult to deal with. The reason that I was in the hospital for so long was because we were dealing with pain management and trying to get my pain under control.

Going Home
Going Home

After spending nearly a month in the hospital, I was able to start November by going home. This was not an easy transition to make. While of course I wanted to get home to my family and dogs, the hospital was a very comforting and healing place for me. I felt a lot of love and support from the staff and knew that they were doing their best to take care of me.
