The Radiation Road - Part Two

When you hear about cancer treatment, they for some reason focus on all of the side effects and how difficult the whole process can be. I am not saying that it is a walk in the park, but I also want to talk about all of the things that radiation has given me and how thankful I am for it.

Radiation is the reason I can be active at all and the reason that I am able to still enjoy life. Without it, I can't imagine how much more difficult this would be and how much more pain I would be living with on a daily basis.

So the nausea and the little side effects that go along with it are totally worth it when I think of all I am getting back in return.

Here is a little behind the scenes of me working out my 12 Days of Cancer medley!

Sexy troll hair is the best way to wake up.

Ever wonder if you look more like your dad or your mom?

Nancy's first visit to radiation. (Doesn't she look like a movie star in her stole?)

They decorated it like a snowman for Christmas!

What should we name my room?

Hello Miss Karla,

You look so beautiful! “CANCER picked the wrong DIVA”.

At the end of the day all you need is HOPE and STRENGTH, hope that it will get better and strength to hold on until it does.

Let your faith be bigger than your fear.

Sending positive vibes,
