My Circle of Strength Workshop #1: I Am My Poop


This workshop is best experienced on a laptop or desktop computer. While it is possible to complete it on a phone or tablet, many of the elements will not appear in their optimal state on these devices. 


If you're not paying attention to your health, it is difficult to find control over your life. We each only have one body to help us accomplish every task and get through the day. This examination of our physical health takes aim at our digestive system and how poop plays a role in indicating issues and can help us live healthier and more productive lives.


STEP 1: Let Go of the 'Ick' Factor

While it is something that everyone does and is a part of our lives every single day, there is still a stigma around bowel movements. We don’t want to talk about it, don’t want our partners or others to be aware when we are having issues, and most of us don’t even take the time to really understand what is normal and healthy for us. We don’t know what might be cause for alarm and which issues are passing and will recover on their own.

Before we start breaking down the facts when it comes to digestive health, we want to start things off with a lighthearted quiz to help you drop your inhibitions when it comes to thinking about and talking about poop.

About Our Speaker: 

Melissa Ramos is a nutritionist and founder of Sexy Food Therapy Inc. She specializes in helping hundreds of women heal their hormones through the Sexy Lady Balls program and regularly appears as a health expert on CTV’s The Social. Melissa is also a health writer for the Huffington Post and a TEDx speaker. She is also affectionately known as the ‘hormone and poop whisperer’ – combin ing her many years of professional expertise & personal experience to help women get their hormones and digestion in check...and have as much fun as possible doing it!

Melissa is funny, compassionate and all heart. She will talk about the real problems we face and show us the necessary changes that best support and heal our hormones, body, and life!
