One of the biggest battles for those living with anxiety is the concept of “what ifs” and unknowns. Life can start to feel like falling into a black hole that you don’t know how to get out of as you grasp for control.
Statistics show that about 18% of people have suffered from an anxiety disorder in their life but only about a third of those have sought treatment. The stigma and shame around mental health needs to stop so that we can all feel comfortable talking about and seeking treatment for issues that are impeding happiness and success. (ADAA)
